Amplify Philly is a 3-day event at South by Southwest. It brings the best of Philly’s diverse business, culture, and tech communities into the international spotlight. The goal is to attract the best talent, clients, and consumers to live, work, and play in Philadelphia.







Rooted in the colors of Philadelphia’s flag and shaped by a logo that reflects the city’s tightly connected industries, the visual identity for the event centered on celebrating Philadelphia’s spirit of collaboration. Building on that foundation, we designed a bold central backdrop to anchor the space. As the main focal point and photo moment, it featured a lively collage of Philly legends including Joel Embiid, Jill Scott, The Roots, Tastykake and more, bringing the city’s culture and pride front and center.




We executed a comprehensive four-phase digital rollout to support the return of “Amplify Philly House” at SXSW 2023. Our strategy positioned Amplify Philly as a standout presence while extending its reach beyond the event. Key efforts included promoting the pop-up activation, boosting engagement, highlighting sponsors, capturing compelling live content and testimonials, and developing an evergreen content plan to maintain visibility after the event. Through focused planning and execution, our digital initiatives significantly strengthened Amplify Philly’s impact at SXSW and established a foundation for ongoing brand growth.
