B.PHL is an annual festival for creatives, entrepreneurs, leaders, students, and industry changemakers from near and far. Featuring global keynote speakers, hands-on workshops, engaging conversations, and live entertainment throughout, B.PHL brings the best and brightest to Philadelphia for a dynamic event.
Building on the existing B.PHL logo, we expanded the identity into a vibrant, flexible system centered on its signature lightning bolt. Because the festival unites innovators across industries, we expressed that diversity through a mix of patterns, textures, and expressive strokes—creating a visual language as eclectic and energized as the event. This system carried into the physical environment, where window decals, entrance graphics, signage, and custom banners created a cohesive, on-brand atmosphere that connected digital and in-person experiences.
A major challenge was merging two Instagram accounts—Amplify Philly and B.PHL Fest—into one compelling presence. We built a unified visual strategy that honored both brands while increasing marketing output and strengthening the existing audience. By positioning the account as a year-round hub for Philly’s business, culture, and tech community, we boosted engagement by 29% and reached 57k impressions.
Amplify Philly has worked with Avenue West for years. The Avenue West team has helped shape and evolve the Amplify brand both online and in person. Their team is up on the latest design trends and have a sharp creative and artistic eye while also supporting on managing our social media channels.
